After the Watanagashi performance, Keiichi is led down to the stream by Rena. As Rena expresses her gratitude to Oyashiro-sama, the village's guardian deity, Keiichi follows her example and sets adrift cotton. The next day, a detective who calls himself Ooishi arrives at Keiichi's side...
