The disaster is depicted through eyewitness accounts, personal memories, and impressive visualizations.

Christine’s father died when she was still a small child, and she remained in the care of her sadistic mother, who beat her and abused her psychologically. Jean’s father committed suicide several years ago, and left behind a lengthy letter, but Jean never found the courage to read it. In the Shadow of Assiniboine

The two left their tents in the camp in the morning and after a walking approach they start climbing the rocky slopes roped together. Then they cross a snow field anf finally reach the summit after a crossing a dangerous rocky step. The film was produced by the National Parks of Canada to promote tourism travel to the Canadian Rockies.

Climbing Mount Everest

A record of the second British Everest expedition showing the journey from Darjeeling to Tibet, activities of the Tibetans, and the climb itself. The main aim of the 1922 expedition was to make the first ascent of Mount Everest. There are two attempts in May via the North Ridge. The first by Mallory, Morshead, Norton and Somervell is without oxygen and reaches 26,985ft. The second by Geoffrey Bruce and Finch reaches 27,300ft and sets a new altitude record. Captain Noel toured the world with this film, and wherever he went the picture was received enthusiastically. It was the first film of an Everest expedition, and the earliest documentary filmed in Tibet.

Making Noise ~ The Story of a Skatepark

Making Noise chronicles the long struggle of the skateboarders of Northfield, Minnesota, to secure a permanent place for their sport. Shot in close collaboration with the latest generation of skateboarders, the film follows their efforts as they meet with city officials to fundraise, envision, and design a skatepark that seems to fit nowhere. A voiceover narration recorded by the skaters and based on city records, reveals the inefficiency of a process slowed down by outdated stereotypes about skateboarding and a thinly veiled resistance to the skateboarders. The film calls into question Northfield’s open-minded and friendly reputation in light of the community’s delay to find a place for its own youths. Making Noise bears witness to young people’s resilience and perseverance as it exposes the victories and failures of the civic process in small town America.

Night Will Fall

When Allied forces liberated the Nazi concentration camps in 1944-45, their terrible discoveries were recorded by army and newsreel cameramen, revealing for the first time the full horror of what had happened. Making use of British, Soviet and American footage, the Ministry of Information’s Sidney Bernstein (later founder of Granada Television) aimed to create a documentary that would provide lasting, undeniable evidence of the Nazis’ unspeakable crimes. He commissioned a wealth of British talent, including editor Stewart McAllister, writer and future cabinet minister Richard Crossman – and, as treatment advisor, his friend Alfred Hitchcock. Yet, despite initial support from the British and US Governments, the film was shelved, and only now, 70 years on, has it been restored and completed by Imperial War Museums under its original title "German Concentration Camps Factual Survey".
