Alice Cooper - Road (Live at Hellfest 2022)

Live at Val de Moine,Clisson,France 24.6.2022. The setlist features hits from the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, all performed by the current band line-up. The filming is quite good and the BD features PCM stereo and 5.1 mixes as audio choices. Expect all the usual live show theatrics (including the guillotine) and great showmanship not only from Cooper himself, but the rest of the band. You would expect an artist at this stage of his career to be on the decline, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Of course, the “band” is a joy to watch as well, especially Glen Sobel (drums) and Nita Strauss (guitar) – two virtuosos on their respective instruments. They add so many subtle intricacies into the music without overstepping Cooper’s vocals. But when the time is theirs in the spotlight, they shred/jam with authority and conviction – absolute professionalism at the highest level in rock music.

For the 74th edition, in February 2024, the band Get Well Soon—formed around singer-songwriter Konstantin Gropper—headlined the "ARTE Berlinale Party" music event, which took place at Schwuz, an iconic Berlin club. In addition to his studio albums, Konstantin Gropper has created the music for three episodes of the German series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). He also contributed to the soundtrack of Detlev Buck's film A Very Bad Plan (2020). His cinematic streak made his band the ideal candidate to rock the Berlinale.

Ending Is the Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show

On 21.12.2012 in the Fox Theater in Pomona, California, a Suicide Silence Memorial-concert for Mitch Lucker took place. The motto of the concert was "Ending is the beginning". A range of guest-musicians, friends and fans of the Deathcore-legend Suicide Silence concelebrated with the band in loving memory of the late singer. Mitch Lucker died on 01.11.2012 after a tragic motorbike crash. He left his wife and their daughter Kenadee behind.

Archive aux Grandes Serres de Pantin - Passengers

Archive had left us without news for some time, but the London collective returned in 2022 with an album that was a cry from the heart, Call to Arms & Angels, suffocated by an accumulation of alarming events (Brexit, Covid-19, lockdowns, etc.). The band, skilled at blending genres (trip-hop, alternative rock, electro, etc.), transformed this melancholy into lyrical despair and vigorous protest. During their French tour, which ended on November 24, 2023, at the Accor Arena in Paris, Archive, renowned for their spectacular shows, treated themselves to a warm-up tour in Passengers, in the heart of the industrial hall of the Grandes Serres de Pantin. Fast-forward six months into the pandemic, hundreds of artists from all different performance art genres are invited to come together over the course of several consecutive days, culminating in a group costume parade event on 10/10/2020 to witness the only live performances happening ANYWHERE. The goal was to lift each other's spirits during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. There were over a dozen genres represented including acrobatics, live music, magic, dance, and even a wedding. Dozens of unscripted live interviews were recorded and the event proved a huge success. The film captures the rawness of what it was like living during this unprecedented time.
