3 friends look to solve their respective cash-flow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the trio begin to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.
Shauna O'Brien plays the title character in The Seductress. Alexis Baxter (O'Brien) is a literal femme fatal, marrying wealthy men and then killing them in order to assume their fortune. Kay Sanders (Gabriella Hall) has a rather large interest in the case. Shinji Kimura’s spookier “Deathtic 4,” meanwhile, seems to tap into the creepier corners of a child’s imagination and open up a toybox full of dark delights. Hideki Futamura’s “Limit Cycle” conjures up a vision of virtual reality, while Yuji Fukuyama’s "Doorbell" and "Baby Blue" by Shinichiro Watanabe use understated realism for very surreal purposes. And Shoji Kawamori, with “Shanghai Dragon,” takes the tropes and conventions of traditional anime out for very fun joyride.
