On July 12, 2011, at the intimate underground venue Shinjuku Motion in Tokyo, Kinoko Teikoku (きのこ帝国) delivered one of their earliest and rawest live performances. Still in the early stages of their career, the band showcased the dreamy shoegaze and emotional intensity that would later define their sound. The show was part of GREAT HUNTING NIGHT Vol.19, featuring tracks like ミュージシャン (“Musician”), performed with youthful urgency and a hazy, reverb-drenched atmosphere.
A Tail of Two Cities features complete shows from the last night of their Deja Voodoo Tour on October 15th, 2004 at The Orpheum Theatre in Boston and their first night of the High & Might tour at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on December 9th, 2006.
