After a difficult year, I decided, based on a personal manifesto shaped by my surroundings [Paramedia], to make a film that I myself would like to see more of. A film created through image, montage, and the possibilities specific to the cinematic apparatus, with an emphasis on organicity. At the same time, it was a response to the question of mainstream cinema versus art cinema, and ultimately an attempt to arrive at a third option, one that is completely separate from those two modes of cinema: experimental cinema, structural, abstract, expansive, and so on. The final product was Me, I'm Not."
