Crime Without Witness is a classic film noir-style short film that follows detective Fred. The story begins when Fred, after following clues that point to a murderer named Alan, receives a mysterious call upon arriving at a house and realizes that a woman has been murdered. Driven by tragedy, Fred tracks down Alan and confronts him. However, the attempt at justice ends in tragedy: The calculating criminal kills Fred. It all ends with Alan walking away down the street unpunished.
