Not Like Other Girls

Flo is not like the other girls at the Ferncliffe Seminary, in that she does not like the attention of the young men at the nearby college, and their efforts to win her affection prove disastrous to their ruffled spirits. Flo has a guardian, John Strong, who has made some unfortunate speculations and to recover his losses uses his ward's fortune, and in the end loses all. He writes to his son and tells him the truth and the only way to keep himself out of jail is a marriage between his son, Owen, and Flo, his ward. Owen arrives home and after persuasion on his father's part, agrees to help him. Flo is invited down for a visit.

Sarge Goes to College

A Marine Sergeant wounded in overseas combat requires an operation, and the Navy psychiatrist recommends that ‘Sarge’ be given a few weeks’ rest before hospitalization. Through the Dean of San Juan Junior College, Sarge enters on a temporary basis. Meanwhile, the Teen-Agers are rehearsing a show and Freddie's worried as they have no band.

Meet Me at Dawn

A young man makes his living in Paris in 1900 by fighting duels on behalf of other parties. He is hired to injure a leading politician and starts to get involved with a girl he uses to provoke the challenge. One newspaper, hostile to the politician, headlines the story of the impending duel asking who this Madame X is. Problem is, she is in fact the daughter of the paper's proprietor if only he knew it.

Aside from the fact that Polly had red hair in abundance, she was not otherwise an exceptional child, save for one thing. Ruffin and Lady Osterly formulate a plan to come into possession of her daughter, by using Polly as a substitute.

After nearly 40 years of waiting for his big chance, Wilfred Morgenhall is given the case of defending Herbert Fowle who is accused of murdering his wife. Despite Fowle's insistence of guilt, Moregenhall will not let go of the opportunity to plead his client as innocent and be a star in the courtroom.

Winnie's mother is going to Bangkok to settle an inheritance matter and is looking for a good boarding house for her child. She calls Dr. Linager, who tells her that he has a boarding house for "expensive children," but the price is no object to Winnie's mother. He is a veterinarian and thought he was going to be looking after a Siamese cat, but everyone in the house naturally welcomes the charming little Winnie.

Baton is a collection of three 20-minute Sci-fi anime films dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Yokohama city. On Planet Abel, human-like robot Apollo (Ichihara Hayato, Rookies) and robot-like human Mikaru (Ueto Aya, Azumi) come upon a stowaway robot with a mysterious "Cipher" chip. Not knowing Cipher's powers, Apollo takes the chip for fun, throwing both him and Mikaru headfirst into a mind-boggling mystery that affects the past, present, and future.

The first part of this short is a "Metrophony" newsreel. It contains actual newsreel footage with humorous commentary (e.g., a flotilla of gondolas is parodied as being the Harvard/Yale regatta). The second part parodies silent movies with a film called "Minnie the Pretzel Twister" starring 'Cynthia Goosefeather.'
