The Nan Movie

Catherine Tate's iconic character Nan hits the big screen as she goes on a wild road trip from London to Ireland with her grandson Jamie to make amends with her estranged sister Nell. Militant vegan arsonists, raucous rugby teams, all night raves and crazed cops on motorbikes all make for a proper day out. An origin story that mixes Nan's present with her past where we finally find out what's made her the cantankerous old bastard she is today.

The show centers on embracing the here and now – living in the moment rather than dwelling on an idealized past or waiting for a perfect future. In the performance, Rønning mixes sharp humour, parodies of current events and popular music, personal reflections – including from his life as a father – and a strong musical backbone.

Christina Aguilera's spectacular 2022 LA Pride performance broadcasted by the digital experience platform NoCap, as she headlined LA Pride’s Music Fest at Los Angeles State Historic Park, on a Thursday, June 30 at 7 PM PST/10 PM EST. Aguilera brought the nostalgia as she was joined by Mya for a rendition of Moulin Rouge!‘s “Lady Marmalade.” She also brought out pop star Kim Petras for a performance of her song “XXX” and Paris Hilton to perform her hit “Stars Are Blind”. The performance featured a closet’s worth of stunning Pride flag-colored outfits that she switched in and out of as she belted out her classic hits like the 2003 orchestral-tinged arena rock song “Fighter.” Xtina also shouted out her LGBTQ+ fans with a montage that ferociously came after Florida’s state legislature for its atrocious “Don’t Say Gay” bill. It was iconic, to say the least.
