Using the traditional stop-motion technique, the 17th-century drawings of chronicler Felipe Guamán Poma de Ayala were reused without alteration to produce the famous myth of Inkarri. The short film narrates and recreates scenes in which the Spanish decapitate Inkarri and take his head to Lima; according to the legend, the head is alive and when it is reunited with the other parts of the body, a new Inca will be formed.
