"What is the meaning of life?". I posed this question almost daily a year ago, so I decided to get to the bottom of the mystery. I wanted to explore the world by my own power - on a bicycle. Untrained, I set off in June 2013 with over 55 kg of luggage and a video camera. 18,000 kilometers through a total of 22 countries with the goal of fulfilling a dream: the dream of absolute freedom and the discovery of our globe. Now experience together with me a really great adventure - a documentary that is not a script, but life itself. A unique challenge - with nature as an ally and the world as... opponent.
This film is the story of a man’s lifelong search for authentic Yiddish folk music and of his unique archive, which was presumed to be lost forever. Moyshe Beregovsky, a musician and scholar, crisscrossed Ukraine with phonograph in hand during the most dramatic years of Soviet history in order to record and study the traditional music of Ukrainian Jewry. His work began in the 1920’s and led to his arrest and imprisonment in a Stalinist labor camp in 1950. Most of those he recorded on hundreds of fragile wax cylinders were shot by the Nazis and tossed into countless mass graves. Ultimately, Beregovsky succeeded in saving the musical heritage of the centuries-old Yiddish civilization. He rescued the Living Voice of his people from the flames of the Holocaust but paid for it with his life. With this introduction, Yelena Yakovich one of the leading Russian documentary film-makers, begins her latest work, Song Searcher.

Filmed in high definition at London's renowned O2 Arena on December 15th, 2011, this is Kasabian's first stand alone DVD release. The show came on the back of the band's No.1 album Velociraptor! and the setlist combines tracks from that album with hits and classic album tracks from across their career so far. In 1987, to capitalize on his growing success in Europe, Prince toured extensively to promote the album of the same name and sales increased accordingly.
