When Shaggy's rich Uncle Albert goes missing and is presumed dead, Shaggy receives an inheritance, which he uses to upgrade the Mystery Machine so it can transform itself into other types of vehicles. The "Laff-A-Lympics" segments feature 45 Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters (classic and otherwise) competing for gold medals in wacky events. Events include racing on ostriches, camels, kangaroos, rickshaws and unicycles, as well as scavenging for creatures like the Abominable Snowman, vampires, and the Loch Ness Monster.
