Bette is a CBS television show which premiered on October 11, 2000, and was the debut of the entertainer Bette Midler in a lead TV series role. A "one-season wonder", 16 episodes were aired on CBS, with its final telecast on March 7, 2001. Eighteen episodes in total were produced, with the final two broadcast on HDTV simulcasting and in foreign markets. Bette was created by Jeffrey Lane, with Midler serving as one of the executive producers.

Through therapy sessions, heated discussions, and tough love, the women work to rid themselves of past demons and strengthen the ties that bind them.

Absolute Power

Stephen Fry and John Bird star as spin doctors Charles Prentiss and Martin McCabe as they bring the popular and satirical Radio 4 comedy Absolute Power to BBC Two. Stephen as Prentiss and John as McCabe are an unscrupulous pair who run the blue chip PR agency Prentiss McCabe. Dealing with commercial as well as personal PR, their remit covers everything from political communications to celebrity media relations. Got to Dance

Auditions for the show take place in specially built Dance Domes and are open to all dance acts of any age, style or size but must be of an amateur level.
