Overview

A love suspense drama where lies become the truth. Kaede Itsuki, a temp employee at Kamishima Corporation, has a fateful encounter with Shuji Kimoto, a recent mid-career hire at the same corporation. Their identities are however not what they may seem on the surface and thus begins a game of deception.

There's also Mayumi, a mysterious woman staring closely at Izumi's father's photograph at his funeral. The situation becomes complicated when the drug-dealing vicious yakuza, Hamaguchi Gumi, comes into the picture as well as Sandaiji Hajime, a politician whose public stance is to eliminate drugs.

Not at all the type of guy you'd call dependable, Arisugawa nonetheless professes to be the protector of the clumsy Himura. Although these two men appear like they have no business being in crime scenes, they mitigate each other's shortcomings and use their compelling logic to unravel the elaborately woven tricks left behind by the criminals. It's almost as if Himura and Arisugawa use incredible magical powers to tease out unimaginable truths!
