Rastamouse is a British animated stop motion children's TV series created by Genevieve Webster and Michael De Souza and produced by Three Stones Media/The Rastamouse Company for CBeebies. The show follows crime-busting mouse reggae band Da Easy Crew, who split their time between making music and solving mysteries for Da President of Mouseland. The first 52 episodes of the initial series were shown in the afternoon beginning 31 January 2011 on CBeebies. From 7 March 2011, the programme was repeated in the early mornings, on BBC Two. The second series, comprising a further 26 episodes, started on 20 August 2012, on CBeebies.

The inhabitants of the planet Thundera evacuate just before it is destroyed. They were pursued by a band of mutants. All but one of their escape ships was destroyed. It is based on The Railway Series of books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son, Christopher Awdry. These books deal with the adventures of a group of anthropomorphised locomotives and road vehicles who live on the fictional Island of Sodor. The books were based on stories Wilbert told to entertain his son, Christopher during his recovery from measles. From Series one to four, many of the stories are based on events from Awdry's personal experience.

It premiered on February 9, 2001, and completed its run on July 8, 2003. The show is produced by Shadow Projects, and Playhouse Disney. This is the first Pooh show where Jim Cummings voices Tigger filling in for the late Paul Winchell. It was shown in U.K on a Channel 5 Block known as 'Milkshake!' as well as Playhouse Disney. It's run on Milkshake! ended around 2006 to 2007.
