On July 12, 2011, at the intimate underground venue Shinjuku Motion in Tokyo, Kinoko Teikoku (きのこ帝国) delivered one of their earliest and rawest live performances. Still in the early stages of their career, the band showcased the dreamy shoegaze and emotional intensity that would later define their sound. The show was part of GREAT HUNTING NIGHT Vol.19, featuring tracks like ミュージシャン (“Musician”), performed with youthful urgency and a hazy, reverb-drenched atmosphere.

Made less than a year before his death in September 1970, Band of Gypsys was an album recorded live to fulfill a contractual obligation for a long-forgotten deal Jimi Hendrix signed when he still spelled his name "Jimmy."
